The album, “Three Octaves Above the Sun” is a tour-de-force of mostly original compositions of Mark Fox, and pays homage to his inuences and masters, while expressing the international, universal and spiritual experiences that have painted his life. A hybrid of post-bop, progressive, transcendental and African jazz, the music is reminiscent of the late 60s & 70s era, yet freshly modern and universally accessible.
